Discipleship

Jesus’ call to discipleship is an all out, leave everything behind summons reaching into every area of our lives. It involves giving Jesus highest priority over the closest of our human relationships and over the desires we have for our lives.

Being a disciple of Jesus is not something we choose to simply involve ourselves in during Church services and bible studies. Every moment of our lives is lived out as a disciple of Jesus. No matter what our occupations are we are called to be preoccupied with Jesus Christ. We are first followers of Jesus and secondly we are soccer moms, students, construction workers and buisness owners.

Discipleship is the continual process of transforming every area of our lives to follow Jesus Christ. Therefore it is a life long, messy process that requires the loving help of other believers that we may grow in loving, living and longing as Christ commands us.

If you would like to get involved in a discipleship relationship and are not sure where to start contact Pastor Jerry.
